Meet Katie, a Co-Founder at FlexZone Flexibility Studio. With over 10 years of experience, she holds an Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Specializing in the geriatric population and post joint replacement clients, Katie is dedicated to promoting health and fitness.

Her passion lies in assisting individuals in reaching their wellness goals, with a particular focus on enhancing flexibility. Katie believes in the transformative power of flexibility, and her expertise extends to crafting personalized stretching programs that cater to individual needs and aspirations.

Amanda Nystrom, LAT, ATC
Flexibility Coach

Amanda is a licensed and certified athletic trainer. Her passion for sports medicine stems from her experience as a Division II collegiate soccer player before transferring to Stony Brook University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. She then went on to pursue her Masters of Science degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Western States.

She has worked in numerous settings as an athletic trainer including the secondary school setting, sports medicine outreach, physical therapy, and the collegiate setting. She has experience with a wide variety of populations including elite collegiate athletes, SOF tactical athletes, law enforcement, pediatrics, geriatrics, highschool athletes, and amputees. She is a passionate and ambitious athletic trainer who strives to exceed the standard of care. Her experience in various settings allows her to use her unique insight and skills to educate, advocate, and contribute to client care.

Retired Air Force veteran turned stretch therapist, holding both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Exercise Science. Dedicated to optimizing health and wellness through the power of stretching, I am passionate about fitness and committed to helping individuals achieve overall well-being. I believe in the importance of stretching for everyday life, not just exercise.

My approach provides a soothing yet fun environment, fostering connections and promoting holistic health for all my clients. Through personalized sessions, I aim to empower individuals to embrace the benefits of stretching, leading to a balanced and vibrant lifestyle.
